We are in desperate need of homes to sell
Our March 2017 market update was similar to the past 12 months.. Inventory is low, very low. We are currently holding -21% less inventory than we did in March of 2016 and we were low then. We only have 2.7 months of inventory on the market. That means if we didn’t list another home in 2.7 months there would be no homes on the market.
Salem/Keizer average residential sales price is $254,337 up 7.3% over last year. What does this all mean to you. If you are selling now is a GREAT time to sell. If you are buyer it is a good time to buy because interest rates and loan programs are in your favor. The toughest part of the market is finding that perfect home.
Days on the market are currently 103. That’s not a long time from sign in the yard to closing table.
